What I did this weekend

We had a very fun and exciting Friday morning. On our trip to the grocery store we noticed jets overhead. Well all thoughts of shopping were abandoned and we headed into the river valley. This is what we came upon...

A photographer or just snap happy.

I would say 90% of my pictures are just snapshots. I find I don't enjoy the art of photography so much if every single shot I take I am trying to compose it properly and get everything just so. I also think some of my better shots have come just when I am having fun trying to capture the moment while still being a part of it. I think I need to ask more photogs what they feel.

Canon 55-250 IS Arrived

I got in a new lens yesterday and had to take it out for a test drive. Here are just a few sample pictures. Minimal adjustments done. I did have a fair bit of lens shake on the boat picture because of extremely high winds. The rest were handheld. I love the new lens. It may be one of the cheaper zooms but it has good reach and a good copy.
